Our goal is to implement and deploy HD video conferencing system and high performance 10 Gigabit research network and utilizing open source network technology and cost effective hardware components. Initially the network will consist of four nodes: kista, Valhallavagen, Solna and Huddinge, and later on the network will be extended to Maputo, Mozambique through European research communities like FEDERICA and SUNET / NORDUNET / GÉANT.

We will deliver a highly efficient and user friendly High Definition video conferencing system. The solution can be then used for telemedicine and e-learning, doctors and researchers will be able to assist each other during surgery and their research work.
